Building Signs of the Week – 10/27/2014
This week, M&G Global Ads once again fabricated the signage of several establishments around the Philippines. We created building signage as well as indoor signage all made from high-quality acrylic. Here are our featured signage of the week.
Sakamoto Philippines Corporation
Sakamoto Co., Ltd. with headquarters at Kobe City, Japan recently opened a subsidiary in the Philippines. Last March 2014, they opened their warehouse at the Laguna Technopark in Biñan, Laguna. However, since 1999, they already have an office at Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. They are one of the hundreds of Japanese companies engaged in business with the Philippines. They are a trading company dealing with the sales and installation of various machine tools mostly for factories such as conveyor belts, grinding wheels, polishing cloth papers, tube machine equipment, power tools, labor-saving equipment, pneumatic hydraulic equipment and the like.
Recently, they engaged M&G Global Ads to provide a building signage for their headquarters in Laguna Technopark. We installed a high-quality and top-of-the-line acrylic signage that conveyed the stability and professionalism of Sakamoto. A well-established company such as Sakamoto who have been in business as early as 1910 deserves a state-of-the-line acrylic signage that will identify itself from the various companies operating in Laguna Technopark. Since we were tasked to fabricate an acrylic signage for the front of the establishment, we had to come up with something that would be able to withstand the harsh weather conditions in the Philippines. A Japanese company, Sakamoto would no doubt expect only the best quality and excellent workmanship from its suppliers. We are glad once again we were able to deliver a high-quality building signage once more sealing our reputation as the prime sign maker in the Philippines.
Fun Ranch West Gate Alabang
Fun Ranch is an entertainment venue designed to attract kids and their families. It’s a Family Entertainment Complex with activities and amusements for kids and their families. They have a multi-story air-conditioned playground called Playdium which is over 1000 square meters – definitely a play space for kids to enjoy. It consists of a multi-level maze of trampolines, tunnels, hanging bridges and slides. Playdium is also designed to be safe enough even for toddlers to crawl around. There are also soft toys for them to play with and ballerina bars to help them get up. There are funny mirrors where kids can goof around and a pool of colorful balls where kids can dive. Older kids would also enjoy dashing through tunnels and whizzing down the giant slide.
Being an entertainment complex, Fun Ranch needed a bright acrylic signage that would be perfect in the mornings and in the evenings. Their building signage is their logo which contains very colorful elements. We fabricated an acrylic signage for them that would remain bright under direct sunlight with none of the colors appearing washed off. Likewise, we made sure that the acrylic signage would light up well at night so that none of the colors are lost even in the dark. As a fun place, Fun Ranch needed to make sure their building signage reflects their core values. By the signage alone, they must be able to communicate to their customers what kind of atmosphere is expected upon entering the building. We made sure to create a signage that is not just sturdy and weather-proof but also one that is well-designed, colorful and able to communicate to patrons the concept of Fun Ranch.
Ballet Philippines
Ballet Philippines is recognized as the Philippine’s flagship ballet and contemporary dance school. It was founded in 1969 by Alice Reyes through the support of Eddie Elejar and the Cultural Center of the Philippines. They produce numerous shows throughout the year that is witnessed by Manila’s populace as well as by visitors from around the country and the world. They have a treasure trove of over 400 works that is unparalleled in Asia. As a world-class ballet company, they have received numerous recognitions and accolade both from local and international bodies.

They continue to develop and propagate their love for ballet by making it accessible via several schools around Metro Manila.
While the main school is in CCP, there are outlet schools in SM Aura and now, in SM MOA. M&G Global Ads was commissioned to fabricate their signage for SM MOA. We made sure we created a delicate and elegant signage that is reflective of the nature of ballet. The acrylic signage they requested, although simple in design, was made with the highest standards in quality so that everyone who gazed at it would know upfront that Ballet Philippines accept and demand nothing but the best.
Chemworld Fragrance Factory
Chemworld Fragrance Factory is a perfumery that helps enterprising Filipinos develop and sell scents on their own. They provide high quality training, complete and affordable supplies and continued guidance to anyone who wishes to establish a perfumery business. Established in 2004, they have de-mystified the art of perfume making by their “no secrets” seminars/workshops conducted two to three times a week. They teach how to create perfumes similar, if not better, than the popular ones sold in department stores.
Beyond making perfumes, they also teach how to effectively market such products. By providing support even for packaging and selling techniques, they have helped over a thousand people become successful entrepreneurs.
M&G Global Ads was privileged to help this enterprising company promote their business by fabricating their building signage. For their recently opened office in Angono, Rizal, we created an acrylic signage that is reminiscent of the company’s commitment to helping Filipinos become entrepreneurs. Their acrylic signage was made from the finest materials and showed stability and strength – the needed qualities of a company helping others succeed in business.
HKS Manila Bureau
The Hong Kong Satellite TV International Media Group has a local office at Malate, Manila. This is where the HKS Manila Bureau resides. They are one of the premier TV networks in China particularly in Hong Kong with a satellite office in Metro Manila and other parts of Asia. They do this to ensure that they are able to accurately relay any news happening in various parts of the world to their Chinese viewers.
M&G Global Ads was tasked to provide the Manila office with a new acrylic signage that will instantly identify their office. We fabricated a building signage that was simple yet elegant. It was a building signage that can surely withstand the test of time.
