The design of the store is essential in marketing. It plays a vital role in attracting, helping and engaging the customers who are shopping at the store. More than that, store designs are important in ensuring a great customer experience when it comes to the so-called “first moment of truth” or the moment when the customer gets attracted to product in the shelf inside the store.
The design of the store has a significant effect on the whole product and shelf presetation, attracting a customer to take a closer look at the prooduct in the shelf. Being the operator of one of the largest grocery stores and supermarkets in the Philippines, Rustan Supercenters Inc. knows the importance of a great design in a store’s interior. Hence, it is not surprising why they have contacted the leading sign maker in the Philippines to make their store signs for Rustan’s Supermarkets.

Rustan’s Signage
M&G Global Ads is the number one choice of stores and mall establishments when they need a sign maker. We know we are always top of mind due to the many stores we have created signage for. Adding to our roster of store signage is Rustan’s.
Rustan’s is a prime mall in Metro Manila founded by Bienvenido Tantoco and Gliceria Rustia Tantoco. The couple began with a small gift shop in their living room in 1952 and has since then expanded their business into a full-pledged department store and supermarket store employing almost 30,000 employees nationwide in their almost 30 locations nationwide. Their primary mission is to bring fresh and high quality goods both local and imported to their patrons.
As a premier mall they need the best type of signage. Recently, they contacted us for the fabrication of their acrylic signage and stainless signage. It was an honor to be working with Rustan’s again and we are grateful for their continued trust and belief in our service and products.
We began the engagement by identifying where the signage will be placed around the establishment. The location of store signage is critical to be identified before any production happens. It determines how large the signage should be and even what type of signage is appropriate. For this project, we determined that Rustan’s needed store signage for the interior of their newest Rustan’s Supermarket branch. Our recommendation were simple yet elegant store signs that can attract customers to what they need but also not overwhelm them.
Once our client agrees to our initial findings and signage plans, then we begin the fabrication. When fabricating store signage we always make sure to use high quality and world-class materials. We do not use second hand materials or non-standard materials that can compromise the integrity of our signage. We are proud of the store signage and other signage we have produced in the past years and we intend to keep it that way. Our guarantee to all our clients is that they always get a signage that is first class and durable for many years to come.
Once we were done fabricating the signage, it was time to move them to the site. On-site installation can be a challenge because of the many factors and risks facing you. We had to include installation in our plans in order for us to minimize the risks. We made sure all our workers followed safety procedures so that no matter how high the signage has to be placed, they are able to install everything accurately and safely. Safety is our consideration and if we deem that it is currently unsafe to install a signage for any reason whatsoever then we postpone the installation schedule. But for most parts, we are always able to install our signage on time because we take signage planning seriously.
After installation, we looked around and inspected our work. We made sure everything is done correctly and there are no loose bolts or any improperly mounted signage. We ensure that everything we do is excellent and 100% to the satisfaction of our clients. We never just install or create a signage for the sake of getting it done. We make sure our clients agree with our work before we consider the job done.
We were proud and happy that Rustan’s liked what we did for their new store. The signage looked great and we are sure it will last for the many more years that Rustan’s will continue to bring its clients satisfying and wonderful products and service.
